“Asa” Japanese for hemp. Japan has a religious tradition which requires that the Emperor wear hemp garments which come from a small plot maintained for the imperial family only. Rock out like the Emperor himself with our Asa backpack.
After many different iterations, one design emerged as a clear winner. We focused on clear, minimalist, consice design that lended itself to useability. Double stitching all over adds a pop of color and durability.
Regular embroidery just doesn’t cut it on the trail. Our micro embroidery Kahush logo is durable enough for the elements, stylish enough for everywhere.
The Asa utilizes an adjustable/removable sternum strap for stabilizing heavy loads. The connected auto locating magnetic closure system is opened by sliding laterally.
